Background
Gushegu Outgrower Business (OB) Network is located at the Gushegu district within the Northern Region of Ghana.
Purpose of Establishment
Gushegu OB Network was established in March 2017 and serve as business associations for OBs, build their capacity, provide business linkages and advocate for their members.
Members
The network has 16 members (all male) who support 6,889 smallholder farmers (3,184 males and 3,705 females)

Objectives
Influence policy process and decision makers at the local and national level, reduce cost of agricultural inputs through bulk purchases and organize collective marketing to realize economics of scale, scout for markets, organize and participate in trade missions to explore business opportunities. Also, work to lower the risk profiles of the network and individual businesses to attract investors, provide information, mentorship, and business linkages to members and activities that will promote the interests of the networks and its members.
Services
The network provides services such as ploughing, threshing, marketing and inputs with repayment in-kind after harvest to it smallholder farmers.
Business Ventures and Partnerships
The network has strong collaboration with MoFA and also, business contracts with Agricare Company, ADAMA West, Africa, RHINOSAS Enterprise and Nazoe Enterprise.
In addition, the network has capacity on governance structure, advocacy financial management, and relationship with financial institutions such as Tizaa rural bank.
