Background
Sissala Area Outgrower Business (OB) Network is located in the Sissala East Municipal and Sissala West Municipal of the Upper West Region of Ghana.
Purpose of Establishment
Sissala Area OB Network was established in January 2016 and serve as an association to empower members through capacity building in order to deliver cutting edge solutions to their smallholder farmers and end markets by supporting them with new technologies and improved practices to produce high quality produce for sale to end markets.
Members
The network has 36 members (33 males and 3 females)) and supports 11,267 smallholder farmers (6,281 males, 4,986 females and 1,686 youth)

Objectives
Promote and protect network members through training, coaching, innovation and learning. Built on data, information collection and sharing, mentoring of members to achieve high performers for effective and efficient services delivery.
Services
The network provides services to 11,267 smallholder including mechanization services, ploughing, harrowing, planting, shelling and inputs for production such as seeds, chemicals, fertilizers. Members produce mainly Maize with some adding soy bean, groundnuts, rice and animal rearing.
Bussiness Ventures and Partnerships
The network has strong collaboration with MoFA and also bussiness contracts with AgriCare, CropCare company and MoFA.
In addition, the network has capacity on governance structure, total quality advocacy financial management, and relationship with financial institutions such as Agricultural Development Bank.
