Background
Jirapa Outgrower Business (OB) Network is located in the Jirapa Municipal of the Upper West Region of Ghana.
Purpose of Establishment
Jirapa OB Network was established in March 2018 and serve as an association to promote, protect and bring about the spirit of corporation and understanding among members to enhance business gains by providing a strong network of stakeholder linkages, advocate and share ideas for sustainability.
Members
The network has 15 members (13 males and 2 females)) and supports
6,468 smallholder farmers (2,394males and 4,074 females)

We facilitate business development and support services including advocacy for members through strong linkages and stakeholder engagements.

Objectives
Promote and protect network members through training, coaching, innovation and learning. Built on data, information collection and sharing, mentoring of members to achieve high performers for effective and efficient services delivery.
Services
The network provides services to more than 6,471 smallholder farmers in the production of maize, rice, and soya include land preparation, threshing, marketing and inputs with repayment in-kind expected after harvest even though some farmers pay for cash for services delivered.
Business Ventures and Partnerships
The network has strong collaboration with MoFA and also bussiness contracts with Yara Ghana, AgriLink, Ghana Commodity Exchange
In addition, the network has capacity on governance structure, total quality advocacy financial management, and relationship with financial institutions such as Sunzali Rural Bank.
